Umm... yes, I know it's Monday. Yesterday I forgot... I was so happy with the photos of Pacey that I had to share them. He's a WHOLE lot better looking then me anyway...
This is another from the same day as the one I posted last week. It was the very last photo taken. Bailey had been pressing the shutter button for me (I'd set it all up on a tripod) and he kept saying "I just want a photo of you smiling". Well, I kept doing my I-think-I-look-so-cool smile. Not good enough.
I wish I could remember now what he said... I just remember that it was something real cute and silly. When he got it he was like "ok, we're done now".
Had a mini session with my baby boy today. He's learnt to bargain - this cost me, real money too :)
I love love love the first shot. I see cute little chubba bubba fingers. I like that there still remains some essence of babyhood. Yes, I know I have to let him grow up. No, it isn't going to be today.
This is his "I AM looking at the camera... seeeeeeeee?" look
He's saying "I love youuuuu". My heart just melts...
He has this CRAZY evil laugh... he thought it was hilarious when he first came out with it.
Muah-ha-ha-haaaa...
He is the happiest child... always laughing and playing.
And of course a B&W. I seem to have a 'thing' for the eyelash shot lately... did you guess?
All the colour photos were edited with Juicy Chew and the B&W was Not Quite Black & White. Shot at ISO 400, using the 18-55mm and the 85mm 1.8.
I forgot to blog yesterday. So, today there's an overload of pics for you. This is also the start of my low light shooting for a few months. I already can't wait until winter is over with and summer is back! All the colour conversions were done using my Juicy Chew action and the B&Ws were with my Not Quite Black & White action.
Jadzia is fantastic about letting my practice on her. Today's 'thing' - shooting wide open, AND getting that focus.
For your viewing pleasure...

Let me know which action you'd like and I'll have it to you within 24 hours.
The number I had written down was 3. So, the third person to comment was going to win. You know, lucky door prize? Do you guys in the States have lucky door prizes? Anyway, Jennifer was the third person to comment and she guessed the number 3 (which she didn't have to do but I thought was cool) - YaY!
Check out her blog {here}
I wanted to post a photo of my wonderful husband tonight. He is my rock...
Almost too busy to blog today. I almost have the last of my new packages done up. I didn't want to ruin my streak of posting every day so I thought I'd pop in and offer a quick lucky door prize.
I've written a number on a piece of paper and taped it to my monitor - no peeking. It's late, and I'm not coming up with a way to explain it properly... Let's say I wrote down a 1 (no, it's not a 1) then the first person to comment wins... Got it?
What does the winner get? Easy... they get to pick 1 of my actions - FOR FREE!!! All you have to do is leave a comment... if you have a blog, link me so I can come say HI to you :).
There's still time to vote in the poll from my last post too. I'll share the results tomorrow. I'll have more time then, I promise.
I don't know if it's because little Suzie picked on me in the 3rd grade or not, but I like to feel loved. I have a need to check how many people visit me... and I KNOW there are more people visiting then there are commenting. That's cool, of course - I'm not out to twist your arm. But I would love to at least know who you are... that's normal, right?
So... take a moment to answer the poll. You don't have to comment - but of course you're welcome to.
These five children are my reason for being. I want them to know every single second of their lives that they are loved. I hope they know how very important they are to me. I see infinite possibilities when I look at them. They are intelligent, funny, caring, kind, clever, helpful, generous, loving... most importantly, they *are*. I want to guide them to where ever they are headed and I hope that they allow me to travel with them at times. I want to give them what I believe is the greatest gift I can - a happy childhood.

This was taken last year in November. Not the greatest I know but one of the few I have of them ALL together.
I just wanted to quickly remind everyone that when you send paypal payment for the actions (link in post below) don't forget to put the name of the action you want in the detail section. If you want all of them, just put 'whole set'.
Now, I've decided that I need to get myself in more photos. My children will grow up and think they had a photographer living with them full time but no mother. So, as much as I hate being on the other side of the camera, I'm challenging myself to do it at least once a week. You'll get sick of looking at me I'm sure...
Here's the first instalment...
