I feel like I've been boring you all lately so I'm going to link you to what I think are some cool things.

Hang out on forums? Beyond and ProPs are where I've been spending some of my spare time lately. ProPs has so much information, I defy you to read it all. Beyond is the friendliest foru m I've seen in a long time. They are paid forums, I'm not trying to trick you. But if you are looking for somewhere cool to hang out with other photographers, those are my places of choice. If you do sign up at either one, tell them I sent you!

Jadzia's new glasses

So... she finally has her new glasses. She feels funny about wearing them at school but she's really good about wearing them at home. I think there's only been once or twice since she got them that I've had to remind her at home. I'll have to take some better photos showing what they really look like. They're a gorgeous shade of darker blue (not navy) and she picked them out herself.

She's now finished Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and is quite happily making her way through Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. She's dying to catch up and finish book 7.

Pacey is my baby that I have the least amount of photos of... he's just not that into it.

He is, however, totally into his new sunglasses! Can you tell?

Oh... and I finally tried back button focusing today. I always said I'd try it but never got around to it. On the XT I didn't have focus issues so I figured 'if it's not broke, don't fix it'. I got a little worried though with the 5D and having more photos come out just a little out of focus. So... took the plunge today and wowsers is it easy?! I'm kicking myself now for not trying it sooner...

I'm not big on non-people photography. I like it when others do it, but it doesn't speak to me. I did manage to snag this nugget today...

We went went out of town today. It's been a while since we've done that and it was fun. While we were there I got some new sunglasses. I've been looking everywhere for a pair. Most of them were too big or too chunky... or $100 on sale. No thanks...

So, in the car on the way home, I got bored and started snapping some photos.

 

As you can tell, I had fun photoshopping too...

The transformation of Miss *B*

This was one year ago...

and this was 8 months ago...

and these are from the weekend just gone......

When my sister pulled up in the driveway I went to get this little one out of the car. I can honestly say that I was in shock. I couldn't believe how much she'd changed!
